CD Sales at Concert Will Support Shriners Hospitals
This year THE WHO!" and "Kid Rock" have again made a significant commitment to supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children! At each of their shows during this upcoming 2015 concert tour.
Shrine volunteers selling their new CD – and will donate the money to charity.
The Tours proposes to guarantee a donation of $1,000 per night to Shriners Hospitals for
Children, provided that Shriners field an adequate number of volunteers to conduct the sales at
each venue. Shrine temples located in the various cities where concerts will be held are being
contacted and are being asked to provide approximately 50 volunteers at each show.
The success of this fund-raiser relies totally on the presence and volume of volunteers. There are approximately 31 dates on each of the tours, which represents a minimum of $61,000 to Shriners Hospitals for Children. With 50 Shrine Volunteers at each concert we should be able to double or triple that amount.
THE WHO! concert tour starts at the Amalie Arena Wed. 4/15/15 n Tampa, Fl. The Kid Rock tour starts in Hartford,Ct. at the Xfinity Theatre Wed. 6/24/15. Check with your Shrine center or SHC to find who is the lead so you can volunteer. The concerts dates are listed on each of the groups web site.
Those involved with this project are confident that this program will generate enough
revenue for Kid Rock to donate funds not only to Shriners Hospitals, but also to his other favorite charities, especially Wounded Warriors and the Who to donate to Teenage Cancer America(which is Roger Daltrey's charity)
50% of ALL PROFITS after expenses (which include, cost of goods, the guitar, my costs-hotels, airfare, etc.) will go to SHC.
